Octavio is a long-term resident at INTP in 2024.

Octavio works on Biogeography, Ecophysiology and Evolutionary Biology. During his PhD he studied thermal ecophysiology and distribution of Liolaemidae and Lacertidae, and later he is researching on historical biogeography of Australian geckos and biotic interchanges.
