I am a theoretical biologist and a philosopher of science. My research centres around evolutionary biology, including topics such as the structure of evolutionary time and the notion of biological information.
I work as a CNRS researcher at the laboratory Évolution & Diversité Biologique, University of Toulouse. Before coming to Toulouse, I was a member of the Theory and Methods in Biosciences group and the Judith and David Coffey Life Lab, the University of Sydney. I also spent a year as a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Philosophy of Science, University of Pittsburgh. My PhD was on the ecological niche concept, at the laboratory Ecology and Evolution, École Normale Supérieure, Paris.
