Microbial Community Ecology - 2024 School

This 3-day school in Microbial Community Ecology aimed to give an overview of the key concepts and tools from community ecology (from coexistence to complex networks), that can enrich the way we think about and study microbiomes, plan experiments and analyze data.

Residency - Arts and Science October

26/9 - 20/10/2024

This residency period, we have welcome INTP friend Juan Giral, as well as Mathilde Defourneaux, Maya Tsur and Toyo Vignal.

All of them are either PhD students or recently elevated to doctor (in Toyo's case, congratulations!), all have an artistic inclination, and as well as personal projects, we shared drawing sessions, discussions about how to teach science through art, and an upcoming thesis chapter-turned-comic book.

Residency - Creating an animated music video

Solène Pichereau (@sedeto), illustrator, graphic designer and singer, came to the INTP for a week in residence to create a traditionally animated clip for one of her songs.

She ran a drawing from life session with all our residents, and offered us a preview screening of her music video accompanied by live singing.

Thesis writing retreat 2024

The Institut Natura e Teoria en Pirenèus is offering a week-long writing retreat for young researchers to work on their thesis or articles.
