Following up on our 2025 Spring School, we are happy to announce the upcoming 2026 summer school
Like the previous edition, it will be taught by a team of interdisciplinary mathematical modellers and complex systems researchers, and aims to provide a broad overview of community ecology, i.e. the science of biodiversity, and how theoreticians from diverse fields can contribute to its development.

We are organizing a writing retreat (for articles, theses, personal projects, fiction...) at INTP the end of this month, from Monday Oct 27 to Friday 31.
For participants who want it, we will propose a working agenda (writing sessions of 50 min with 10 min break), but it is not compulsory of course!

A 3- to 5-day retreat where participants (researchers or doctoral students) make progress on their own research, while sharing daily scientific discussion times, both indoors and during mountain walks.
Discussions will especially aim to address challenges and roadblocks in one's current work, brainstorm ways to overcome them, drawing on insights from a group of colleagues with a common background.
